Lo hizo a través de un pedido formal enviado al jefe de Gabinete de la Nación, Santiago Cafiero donde detalló la situación epidemiológica de la provincia y la necesidad de reactivar la economía. Además, pidió la habilitación de las reuniones familiares, turf, centros culturales y salas, jardines maternales, salas de juego y casinos, fútbol 5, escuelas de verano, natatorios en clubes y la apertura del turismo nacional e internacional.
El Gobernador, Rodolfo Suarez, solicitó formalmente a la Nación recategorizar nuevamente a los departamentos del Gran Mendoza, Tupungato y Tunuyán e incluirlos en la fase de Distanciamiento Social Preventivo y Obligatorio (DISPO). El pedido fue enviado al jefe de Gabinete de la Nación, Santiago Cafiero, con el detalle de la situación sanitaria y epidemiológica de la provincia.
En este sentido, Suarez detalló que “la curva de contagio se encuentra amesetada y en franco retroceso en cuanto a los porcentajes de positividad, la baja tasa de letalidad (1,62%) y la tasa de duplicación que a la fecha se encuentra en más de 60 (sesenta) días”. Indicó en el pedido que “el índice Rt a la fecha es de 0.77 y la tasa de ocupación de camas UTI es de aproximadamente 80% (ochenta por ciento) y la de camas de sala, inferior al 65% (sesenta y cinco por ciento)”.
El mandatario también pidió que “en caso de que por determinado motivo no se accediera a lo anteriormente solicitado” se contemple la autorización para reanudar las reuniones familiares, turf, centros culturales y salas, jardines maternales, salas de juego y casinos, Fútbol 5, escuelas de verano y natatorios en clubes.
Además, el Gobernador solicitó la apertura del turismo nacional e internacional al pedir “la autorización de ingreso por el Paso Internacional Cristo Redentor, mediante acceso terrestre en vehículos particulares o servicio de transporte público de pasajeros, o mediante transporte aéreo”.
Suarez sostuvo que con el pedido busca poder “reactivar las distintas actividades de la economía provincial, que se han visto severamente afectadas por la pandemia y las medidas que debieron adoptarse como consecuencia de la misma, en protección de la salud de la población”.
